After completing my military service, I had the opportunity to deploy to FS15 (Field Squadron 15) along with my commanding officer and a friend from my platoon. We initially underwent six months of training at Livgardet, located just outside Stockholm, before being deployed to Masar-e-Sharif.

In my role as a Tactical Air Control Party Assistant, my primary responsibility was to assist in coordinating air support during emergency situations. Our team consisted of six individuals who traveled throughout Afghanistan with the main objective of supporting the Swedish forces in their efforts to enhance security within the country. We also ventured into the Norwegian-controlled areas of Afghanistan to provide support to their troops.
